2011・3・11 日本に大きな災害が有りました。山々や海の禊のように、日本の東北、関東は筆舌に尽くし難い試練を受けました。松林や町が丸ごと津波で無くなってしまった処もあります。
そんな中に、桜が咲いて心の大きな慰めを得たとのニュースを見ました。
日本の美しさを秘めた東北にも桜の名所が幾つも有ります。
今、人々の大変な試練と苦難の中にも桜は変わらずに前線を延ばし咲いています。
辛い中に見る桜は一層美しく見える事でしょう。…命の輝きが散ることも教えます。
この桜の美しさを日本人は忘れてはならないと思います。
山々、川々の美しさが変わらぬ限り日本は日本で在り続けます。桜の美しい国は、心の深みに於いて素朴で心ある美しい国なのだと感慨を新たにしました。
